The former Yugoslavia Bank Palace building, completed in 1923, was designed by Czech architect Matej Bleh in the style of academicism of the 20th century. The building consists of two basement floors, a ground floor, four above-ground floors, and attic I and II. A Conceptual Design Project for reconstruction, adaptation, and a change of use for a part of the building from a commercial space into a hotel, was developed through dialogue with the Belgrade City Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. Respecting the architecture found in the surroundings of the Republic Square as well as the prominent semi-circular facade with the three entrances, the shape and appearance of all openings on the facades have been retained in the project. Reconstruction, adaptation, and change of use were done in a manner that does not clash with the existing structure of the building. The original structural system of posts and beams is preserved and updated with interior elements that were the subject of the Interior Design Project by Articons company. The building now houses sixty-eight hotel rooms and three commercial spaces.
