An existing old wire factory building was preserved on the site and added to the new residential-commercial complex, to bear witness to the industrial past of this part of the city. The newly designed structure is a corner building, walled on both sides, with exits to three streets of different characters. For this reason, the building is not conceived as a uniform whole, but as a collection of different volumes. The brick volumes follow the ridges of the neighboring buildings, the glass cube opens towards the interior of the plot, while the withdrawn volume of the last two floors is formed by the torsion of the original cube, to meet the requirements for distances from the neighbors and not to endanger the prominent views and street features of this spatial unit. This disposition of the building forms an inner courtyard, highlighted by an arched portal, and accessible only to tenants.
