The plot is located in the Senjak area, on the slopes of the Sava River, at the corner of two extremely quiet inner-village streets, and surrounded mostly by family houses. The building is designed as a semi-detached villa, whose two residential units can function completely independently. Shape-wise, the building is designed as a series of cubes that cascade down following the terrain, with significant openings towards the slope, from where the view extends to the Sava River and New Belgrade. Masses of the cubes intertwine to form a compact structure. The living room that extends through one and a half floors contains sculpture-like stairs connecting the basement and ground floor with the gallery on the first floor. The cascades that appear on and around the building are used for terraces where daily family activities take place – outdoor dining, children’s play areas, lawns, etc.
